First workshop will introduce key stakeholders to the Digital Twin of Slovenia platform, an emerging technology, and demonstrate how European Commission initiatives, particularly DestinE, together with support from the European Space Agency (ESA), can strengthen the management of natural disasters in the future. Participants will gain an initial insight into the potential of digital twins for natural hazard applications, and will explore how the DTSI project can address existing operational gaps. The event aims to showcase opportunities, encourage collaboration and align expectations regarding the development of Slovenia’s national digital twin capacities for advanced natural resource management and improved disaster preparedness.
